Over the course of three years, I was blessed to be able to capture some of the most beautiful models and influencers in the Palm Springs area for Peepa's, a highly successful retail store catering to women and men, as well as some of the best art, photography and gifts. For brand-created and locally made fashion, we utilized a wide array of Coachella Valley models to promote a brand that is diverse, fun, relaxed and ready for anything.
For photographing people, my approach is to find the right composition, staging, lighting and posing... and then capture the moments in-between, where full, unvarnished reality meets professional expectations. You can tell someone to "say cheese", but the best moments are the split seconds between takes, after an unexpected joke, or warm sunshine on one's face.
These photos were multi-purpose... social media, e-commerce product photography, as well as print and digital advertising.
